Qu'on s'en félicite ou qu'on le déplore, tout le monde s'accorde pour souligner que notre société est devenue une «société d'organisations» dans laquelle les «organisations» ont pris une place centrale. Dès lors, il n'est pas étonnant de voir que les organisations constituent aussi un domaine d'étude privilégié pour les sciences sociales.
